Medical Spa

Owners, Emerico Csepanyi, M.D. and Eva Verdult, LCSW have built out their newest location, combining both locations into one larger facility. Now all staff and all treatments are in their amazingly beautiful new location. This allows a more functional flow between all their Body, Skin and Laser Treatments. The new facility is open, airy, chic and overall welcoming.

Dr. Csepanyi oversees all Medical Treatments and is proficient with all aspects of treatments and performs the SmartLipo procedures, while Ms. Verdult oversees the business end of things. This makes their partnership exceptional in their work together. They consistently attend conferences, meetings and trade shows to bring the newest results-oriented technology to the practice.

People often ask how I’ve ended up in the Medical Spa business. It’s been a fun and interesting journey…I began working in a Medical Practice as an Office Manager, I eventually returned to school, obtaining a BA in Psychology at Long Beach State University and then a Master’s in Clinical Social Work at USC. After several years of first working with Children & Youth, I then opened my Private Practice working with Adults providing Psychotherapy services, then Supervising Interns. Missing my love for business, I eventually found myself back in the medical/dental field building my business and management skills. When an opportunity arose to develop and operate a medical spa, I took it and I am happy to use all of my education and skills in every detail of my work every day. Now in practice for 20 years, and love what I do!

Dr. Csepanyi

Co-Owner

Always having an interest in laser technology and the cosmetic field prompted Dr. Csepanyi’s pursuit to further his education and training via his Plastic Surgery Fellowship at UCLA. Dr. Csepanyi truly enjoys helping people look and feel their best and had integrated cosmetic treatments such as Laser Hair Removal, Laser Skin Rejuvenation, Body Sculpting with Laser Assisted Liposuction, Velashape and Weight Loss, as well as Botox and Dermal Fillers into his practice over the years.

After extensive training with the new technology of SmartLipo, Dr. Csepanyi started devoting most of his time to body sculpting using the SmartLipo Triplex system for liposuction which integrates laser for easy fat removal and skin tightening for the body and chin, as well as Cellulaze for a more permanent cellulite treatment. Dr. Csepanyi has always had an interest in hair restoration and now offers NeoGraft, the non-strip method with no scarring.

Sophie Robinson

Licensed Aesthetician/MA

Sophie is a Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Aesthetician and Master CoolSculpting Specialist. Sophie is a Graduate of the International Dermal Institute and Academy of Beauty. She has always strived to be knowledgeable about the advancements in skin and body treatments. She specializes in
Microneedling, HydraFacial, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, Microdermabrasion, VelaShape, Coolsculpting, and more. Sophie’s passion derived from her dealing with her own skin issues that she had to deal with over the year.. She discovered results sharing her story and helping others to find real solutions! A fun fact about Sophie is that she served 4 years in the Armed forces as a Chemical Operation Specialist with an honorable discharge and countless achievement medals after her last tour, “Iraqi Freedom.” During College, she made the National Dean’s List, earned a degree in Journalism while also reporting in a few News features for (AAOC) News station.

Meghan

Treatment Consultant

Meghan is one of our Front Office Coordinators and Treatment Consultants. She started at Federico Beauty Institute in Northern CA where she graduated at the top of her class. She has been working in the medical aesthetic field since August 2002. Immediately after passing her state boards she started
working for a cosmetic surgeon in Northern CA for over 9 years before she relocated to Southern CA with a few girlfriends. Once settled in OC she landed her job at Newport Beach MedSpa in July 2012 & has not looked back since.

She works comfortably in all areas of the aesthetic field from helping the
providers to consulting & providing the best treatment plans for her
clients. Meghan’s passion for aesthetics & watching people smile as they
achieve their desired results makes her job enjoyable every day.

Rachel

Licensed Aesthetician/MA

Rachel is a Licensed Aesthetician and Certified Medical Assistant. She has been in this industry for over 22 years, 14 of those with Newport Beach MedSpa. Rachel’s first position in the industry entailed working with a group of skincare professionals and a plastic surgeon in Newport Beach. Since she’s lived in Newport Beach all of her life, she knows our lifestyle (lots of sun exposure). She specializes in all skin-care and body needs. Her passion is to analyze and treat skin care utilizing proper procedures and products. There’s always a solution no matter what age or skin-type you are. She welcomes seeing new patients as well as treating her recurring patients for the last 10 years, it’s always a pleasure!

Yibin “Jack”, RN

Registered Nurse

Jack has been an RN for 16 years and has spent the last 9 years in Aesthetics, performing Laser and Injectable treatments.

Jack has an incredible “aesthetic eye” when it comes to assessing clients and determining what they could use to enhance their features and truly “turn back time”. He is especially gifted with Dermal Fillers and Botox, Thread Lifts, Ultherapy and Lasers. He knows just how to make clients feel comfortable, relaxed and truly give them a natural look! When it comes to Laser treatments, he certainly knows his stuff! He understands how the laser will respond to each client’s unique skin type.

In his spare time, Jack loves to paint (a true artist) and also loves working out. One of the things we love about Jack is his infectious smile!

“I’m won’t review each treatment separately because I’d be repeating myself. This Spa has the most helpful pleasant staff and Skilled R.N’s you will find anywhere. I don’t think I have enough space to rave as I’d like to. The front desk is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Once I was roomed and with the nurse, he gave me all the time I needed. One of the best things about this Spa is they don’t try to up sell you. Quite the opposite. I thought I would need more than we finally decided on. Yibon said “I don’t think you will be happy with what you’re asking for”. He told me if my goal was to look natural, we should do less. He said let’s decide as we go along. He was right. I had filler in my lips cheeks and Marionette lines Botox on my 11’s and a brow lift thru Botex. Yibon was virtually painless. I was determined I wanted a dental block for my lips because normally it’s painful. He told me that he didn’t think I’d need one. He told me that he was very gentle, and he was right!”

“I guess I am going to use another box after all. I bruise easily, and today I had more than a few pokes,It’s been 4 hours since I had my injections, and there is not a single spot on my face. He told me I was a bit swollen, but it’s so minimal, I can’t notice it. I wish we could post before and afters, because the result is that I don’t look like “done”. I look refreshed, and like a younger version of myself. At 70, I’m no stranger to a little extra help, But I don’t let just anyone touch my face. I’ve driven to Beverly Hills, New York, while I happened to be there, and my friend recommended. She had done her research. I wasn’t disappointed, but thrilled is a lot better than not disappointed. We have a gem here in the OC. I know I’ve written a very long review, but when you get home and your 40 year old daughter , who is very stingy with her compliments tells you that you look like you did 15 years ago, it’s a pretty big deal. One last thing, Yibon saved me 18,000 by suggesting ….”

“Have had a lot of Botox, my nurse really knows his stuff! He spent a lot of time with me, and suggested I have fillers for my face and lips. I have been hesitant to use fillers because I often see women who have obviously had them. I have trust in my nurse, and when he said I won’t look different, just refreshed. I have an appointment next Friday for the fillers. I like that there was no pressure, and I consider him to be conservative and I like that. Office staff was very friendly and competent 5 star experience.”

Certified Physican Assistant (PA-C)

Meet Caron, our PA-C here at Newport Beach Medspa. Caron received her degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. After exploring many areas in medicine, her passion for medical aesthetics brought her to Newport Beach more than 20 years ago.

Caron is a also highly skilled and sought-after trainer. In 2012, Caron was invited to join the Allergan Select Team as a Master Injector and trainer for Botox® and hyaluronic acid fillers. She was chosen to be one of 20 professionals in California to acquire this status. Her experience brings safe aesthetics training to health care professionals with advanced techniques, natural results, and a unique teaching style. Caron’s education is always at the forefront of medical trends, as she regularly attends the latest national educational programs. She provides the highest level of excellence for her patients using the latest technologies in facial anatomy, safety, and natural results for aesthetic skin care. Caron’s philosophy on patient care is to pay attention to details while taking a conservative and caring approach, giving individual attention to each patient’s personal style.

Marketing Director

Tulsi is our Marketing Director and the creative force behind
everything you see on our social media. With a background in digital
media and content creation, she brings a fresh and forward-thinking
approach to the aesthetics industry. She recently graduated from the
University of California, Riverside with a degree in Psychology, but has always been drawn to expressing her creative side. Tulsi has a natural eye for design, trends, and what resonates with today’s audience.

She enjoys creating ads across platforms like Google, Facebook, and
Instagram- which are crafted to drive results, build awareness, and
bring new clients through the door. Outside of work, Tulsi loves
designing clothes, traveling, and finding new shows to watch. We’re
lucky to have her energy, vision, and creativity on our team!
