How Does the Treatment Work?
During a PDO thread lift at Newport Beach MedSpa, barbed sutures are carefully placed beneath the skin in customizable paths to provide an instant lift and support to move fat pads and skin into a more youthful position. The threads will then dissolve over the following months, leaving behind new collagen production where the threads were placed. This provides lift, volume and more firm and youthful looking skin that is long-lasting.
We love that the results from a PDO thread lift are instant and also improve with time as collagen is stimulated. This is a comfortable and easy in office treatment with little to no downtime. You may experience some minor bruising and tenderness in the treated areas following treatment. How Long Do They Last?
Results typically last 1-2 years, depending on factors including areas treated, skin quality and anatomy, and whether you are taking care of your skin with other in-office treatments and at-home skin care.
